These are the rules that define PD play.  This is a democracy, however, and every rule is subject to discussion.  However, breaking rules you do not agree with constitutes not following AotU directives.  If you have an issue with a rule, ask an officer and adhere until a decision is made regarding the functionality of said rule.

-No use of the AH or DDO store for magical gear (Buying or selling)

-You may sell to and buy from brokers upon reaching level 8, however there is a stipulation.  When buying from a broker, 10% of the purchase must be paid to the AotU banker, currently known as Aotubank.  The subject should be "Broker Fee"  The body of the mail should include the name of the item purchased.

-No buying of consumable magic from the vendors or store. Cosmetics and storage equipment is fine.

-We have what is called a naming convention.  All characters must have a prefix or suffix identifying you.  Example, mine is Fest so I have Festicles, Prophylfest and Smexyfest, you get the idea.

-Trading between guild mates is permitted with some regulation.  You may trade to any character that is within a level of you either direction.  (i.e. a level four may trade with a three or a five only)  You may not exploit this to hand gear down to your lower.  You may not be the recipient of your own gear, except as your "Heirloom" piece.

-You may not recall from a dungeon for the purpose of gathering items, repairing, selling etc.  However, the entire group may leave the dungeon and reset it for this purpose.

-Each rest shrine may be used once per instance.

-Items gathered from “in game events” may be used, including buffs from favor vendors (individual and guild).

-Items gained via collectables or as gifts from NPCs may be used without restriction.  (e.g. collectables bags, ingredients bags, +3 House D arrows, +5 Free Agent Thieves' Tools)

-You may not power-level except for Wilderness Areas as allowed by the game.  Power levelling means having more than a +3 level difference between lowest and highest level toons.

-Game design glitches that cause a death are ruled invalid.  If you are unsure, take a screenshot of the combat log and/or scenario and post it in the appropriate forum and await officer determination before playin that toon.

-You are limited to Your ability modifier off your Con with regard to resurrection.  (A toon with a 16 Con has a +4 mod and therefore 4 possible resurrections)  If you die, tick one off.  This must be posted on your character list and in-game bio.  Once your deaths exceed this number, you are permanently dead.

-Veteran status is allowed to those who have taken a standard AotU character to level 10 – otherwise you must join during the Korthos Experience at level one.  You may, however, skip the Grotto.  Remember, though, that the grotto is a source of many free starter cure pots.

-Hirelings may be used to round a group to four. In no case may they be used if it would exclude a member who wished to join a group.  Hirelings must be lower than the lowest level of the active group member, but may never resurrect a guild member.

-You may allow ONE non-guild member per guild-mate to a group you have opened during the Korthos Experience as a recruitment device.

-Running quests purely for "loot runs" with no intention of finishing the quest is forbidden.

-You may not continually run a wilderness area after all of the discoveries and rare encounters and slayer requirements have been met for the purpose of obtaining loot.

-Taking advantage of faulty AI where a monster does not act properly is forbidden.

-You may impose tighter restrictions ON YOURSELF than our rules require, but may not use them to isolate yourself from the guild or to criticize other members.

-You should only repeat a quest at the same setting to help another who has not completed it.  Try not to repeat settings.

-Spoilers are discouraged - you may hint - but don't be overt.

-For raids the number of hirelings may bring a group to eight.
